Who mows the grass along the roadsides?
The Madison County Highway Department mostly sprays the roadsides with herbicides to keep the weeds minimized and the Bermuda grass growing. However, the Highway Department does mow select areas where the weeds have grown tall and are obstructing view. Please call the Highway Department at (731) 422-1651 or fill out the online form to request roadside mowing.
